now expected to bring mainly rain to most of the tristate region, according to the latest forecast by the National Weather Service.

The precipitation may start as snow or a wintry mix north and west of New York City between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Little to no accumulation is expected. Temperatures will climb into the upper 30s to around 40 as the afternoon progresses.

The rain ends late Sunday night followed by dry, blustery and colder weather for Monday with sunny skies and a high in the low 30s.
